YOGA JUNKIE CANCELLATION POLICY

At The Yoga Junkie, each class is intentionally curated to provide a spacious, high-quality and supportive experience.

With limited capacity and increasing demand, our policies are designed to honour both the integrity of the space and fairness across our community.

By booking with us, you agree to the following:

1. CLASSES & APPOINTMENTS 

Cancellation Window

You may cancel or reschedule your class up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time without penalty.

As many of our classes operate with active waitlists, this notice period provides us with the best possible opportunity to reallocate your space to another client.

Cancellations made within 48 hours are considered a late cancellation.

 Late Cancellations & No-Shows

Late cancellations and missed classes restrict availability for others and impact the flow of our schedule.

 The following charges therefore apply:

  • Mat Classes: £5

  • Reformer Classes: £20

These apply to:

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the class start time

  • Failure to attend without cancelling in line with this policy

These charges represent a fair and proportionate contribution towards the loss incurred by reserving a limited-capacity space.

Class Usage

  • Drop-in bookings and class packs
    Late cancellations and no-shows will result in the session being forfeited (counted as used) and are non-refundable.

  • Memberships (Reset, Rebalance, Restore, Rebirth)
    Memberships provide access to classes rather than payment per individual session. As such, late cancellations and no-shows will incur the applicable fee outlined above.

 Memberships are non-refundable and do not guarantee attendance at specific classes.

 Automatic Charges

All applicable late cancellation and no-show fees will be:

  • Automatically charged to your saved payment method

  • Processed securely via our booking system

  • Confirmed via email or system notification

By booking a class or holding an active membership, you authorise these charges where applicable.

 Discretion

We recognise that exceptional circumstances may arise. Requests for consideration will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis; however, to ensure fairness, consistency, and to minimise administrative burden, exceptions are limited and not guaranteed.

If We Need to Cancel

In the event that The Yoga Junkie cancels a class or session, we will ensure you are appropriately accommodated:

  • Drop-in bookings and class packs: you will be offered a transfer or class credit.

  • Memberships: as memberships provide access rather than payment for individual sessions, we will ensure continued opportunity to attend alternative classes or, where appropriate, provide additional availability.

Our commitment is to maintain the value and quality of your experience with us.

 

2. WORKSHOPS & EVENTS

Cancellations made 7 days or more prior to the event will receive a full refund, minus any non-recoverable processing fees.

Cancellations made within 7 days of the event are non-refundable. If your place is filled, a credit may be offered at our discretion.

If The Yoga Junkie cancels a workshop or event, you will be offered a transfer, credit, or full refund.

 

3. RETREATS (UK & OVERSEAS)

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.

The remaining balance is due 8 weeks prior to the retreat start date.

  • More than 60 days before: balance refunded (excluding deposit)

  • 30-60 days before: 50% of the balance refunded

  • Less than 30 days before: non-refundable

For overseas retreats, appropriate travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover cancellation, illness, or disruption.

 

4. FORCE MAJEURE

The Yoga Junkie shall not be held liable for cancellations or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, natural events, travel disruption, or government restrictions.

Where possible, a transfer or credit may be offered.

 

5. REFUNDS

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 10 working days, minus any non-recoverable transaction or processing fees.

 

6. AGREEMENT

By booking any class, workshop, retreat, or service with The Yoga Junkie, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Cancellation Policy, alongside our Terms & Conditions and Waiver.

We understand that life changes and sometimes plans need to be adjusted.

The following policy ensures fairness to all clients, instructors, and venues involved in our classes, workshops, and retreats.
